Merrill and Nichole are the parents of three beautiful daughters. They understand the good and bad about dating and are very keen on how it affects relationships, both married and single relationships. To your partner, it is important how much time and effort is put into planning your date. A date poorly planned says to your partner that you don't care about them and their experience.

This information you are going to read is compiled from my experience of over 20 years of actively dating (15 as a single, 10 with my wife), Nicole's 11 years of dating (6 as a single, 10 with me), and interviews with some of the most fun, creative, and romantic daters that we have known. This is the information we wish to share with you - to give you some of the tools to be as successful as you can in your dating experience. Information that I wish I had when I embarked upon my dating journey over 20 years ago.

A little about our dating story.... I first noticed Nichole at a night club, she was on a date with someone else. I was smitten. I saw her again a few weeks later at the same place. I was on a date with someone else. She was not. I excused myself from my date for a moment, and went and introduced myself and got Nichole's number. We dated for seven months before we married. Our dates included a concert in Canada, a hike to a waterfall in the mountains in Utah, visiting the ocean in San Diego, as well as many other fun things. Mostly week just immensely enjoyed being around each other. Dating I know. Marriage, I have yet to write the book. Suffice it to say, great dates work in married life also. Keep it interesting, have fun, and really, you don't have to spend a lot, or go to crazy places like I did with Nichole to get to know each other and have fun.
